Saturday Night out: Makeup and Outfit

Last Saturday night I went out with friends for a meal then clubs etc. Whenever I go out on a night I always like to get dressed up wearing heels and a fitted dress. That is my typical style when going on a night out. In this blog post I will be talking about what I wore and the makeup I used. As I was going out for a meal I wanted to look classy but also something that was suited for clubs aswell. Surprisingly this dress managed to stay white without getting no marks on all night.  Makeup wise it lasted me all night/early morning. I went out 7pm and came back home 3am and my makeup still looked good. Although by that time I was abit shiny as I never powdered once throughout the night.
The makeup If you have read my blog for a while you know I love full coverage makeup. I wanted a full coverage, flawless, bronzed, smokey eye with a bold lip look. I am happy with how my makeup turned out. If you hate wearing lots of makeup you probably won't like this makeup as I did use ALOT of pr…

Max Factor: Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle foundation review

I was kindly sent these products to review
Max Factor is such an iconic brand that has been around for years. I can remember Nana using it and even my Mam. When I got the chance to try out some Max Factor makeup I was really happy (infact I screamed inside) When I opened the package I was really happy with what was inside. The Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle Touch Foundation. Both products claim to smooth the skin textures. Also, these products are advertised on TV and the models skin looks flawless. Anything that claims to make your skin look flawless and smooth I will try. As you all know I love a flawless, smooth and full coverage base.
Smooth Miracle Primer I 'secretly' hoped that this would have been one of the products in the package, as I really wanted to try it out. So when I saw this product I was thrilled. The bottom picture above is the primer using a small pump and on the right (which you can't see) it is blended out. I applied the primer all over my face and I…

My Perfect Pout review

I was kindly sent this product
My Perfect Pout is something that I have always wanted to try mainly because to see if it does actually make a difference to my lips. You see so many products on the market claiming to be the next best thing to lip injections etc but do they actually work? In today's society many girls are wanting to achieve the 'Kylie Jenner' lips which are big or bigger lips naturally. This product is pain free and simple to use.
I am guilty of this I constantly wish how my lips were fuller or plumper etc. So I was delighted when I got the chance to try this. Anything that claims to make your lips bigger I will try. My lips aren't necessarily small but they aren't big either. Especially my top lip which is smaller and uneven compared to my bottom lip. Normally with my lips I over draw to make my lips even with lip liner.
The packaging is stunning. I may be bias as pink is my favourite colour but this is ideal to have on your dressing table etc as it …

Tag Tuesday: The Beauty Blogger Tag

I have been looking for tag questions to do as I haven't done any tag questions in a while. This tag has interested me as the questions seem really interesting. Lets get onto the questions......
Use 3 words to describe your blogging style? Honest, informative and chatty
If you could meet any person in the fashion/beauty industry (dead or alive) who would it be and why? PLouise she is a really talented self taught makeup artist. She does the exact makeup that I love full coverage glam. If I was nearly as talented as her I would be really happy. She has her own makeup academy in Manchester but for those who aren't near or from Manchester. There are online tutorials to watch to learn how to create certain looks.
How has your blogging changed compared to when you first started? I give more indepth reviews so my reviews are as useful as possible. I also include claims about the product, about the brand and my overall opinion etc. Since studying English at Uni (I'm now going into my …

Varama Cover Creams review

If you have followed me for a while you will know that I love full coverage products. That make your skin look flawless and hide any imperfections that you may have. I suffer from slight redness on my cheeks that I like to cover. I was kindly sent these products from Varama Cover Cream to review which are waterproof. These products aren't classed as makeup but can be used as makeup. Like I have done. You also get a mixing brush which is ideal if you are mixing shades together for your perfect match.
About Varama Varama cover cream is camouflage makeup. Ideal to cover any redness, discoluration and skin damage. These products create a natural full coverage finish. So if you are paranoid about it looking obvious on your skin it isn't. Also they are waterproof. Fragranced free.
How to use Varama Cover creams I found that the best way to use these is to apply a small amount as a little goes along way. These are easy to build up until you get the desired finish that you want. The cre…
